Rossinca Heritage School

The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute, together with the Ministry of Science and Education and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, offers certificated examinations in Russian in compliance with Council of Europe standards.  Through Rossinca Heritage School and the Pushkin State Russian Language Institute’s partnership, children and adults have a unique opportunity to take a Russian Language Proficiency test in the following disciplines:  “Russian as a foreign language”, “Russian language: every day communication (for school age children); Russian language: every day communication (adults); “Russian language for bilingual children”; “Business Russian” and others. 

The Pushkin State Russian Language Institute has been working in the field of Russian language certification proficiency since 1992. In 2008 it became a member of ALTE.  It organizes and conducts examinations in Russia and 15 countries, in 35 satellite examination centers.  Rossinca Heritage School is one of the two locations in the United States where such examinations can be taken.  Children and adults have a chance to take the test, confirm their language knowledge level and receive a special certificate.
